Aylana Lichele Wells, age 22 of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 in Chicago, Illinois.
On May 10, 2000, in Renton (Suburb of Seattle), Washington our family welcomed the 'smiling face' of a beautiful baby-girl named Aylana Lichele Wells. She was the newest addition to the proud parents La'Donna Michele Guillory and Samuel Maurice Wells, and big-sister Aryonna J'nai Wells.

Aylana's smile, laughter and warm personality could light up any room.

Aylana lived 22 years on this earth to the fullest. In her adolescent years, she participated in several sporting activities, such as Cheerleading, Basketball, and Volleyball. Aylana enjoyed traveling, dining at various restaurants, and experiencing diverse cultural cuisines. She traveled and vacationed in several cities in the states and abroad, including Mexico, Italy, Greece, and Germany, where she lived for 2 years.

During high school, she volunteered at St. Rose Dominican Hospital, completed an internship at the Las Vegas Government Center with the Nevada Department of Public Safety, while maintaining a part-time job.

Aylana graduated in 2018 from Veterans Tribute Career and Technical Academy High School, with High Honors and received an academic scholarship to DePaul University in Chicago, IL. Aylana was a senior and an Assistant Instructor at DePaul University when she passed away on Tuesday September 27, 2022.

On October 13, 2022 Aylana was conferred a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Health. She planned to attend graduate school, to earn a master's degree at Georgetown University.

Her career pursuit was to join the Government and to become an asset to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), conjoined with Department of Homeland Security as a Disaster Relief Specialist. Aylana expressed that her education would include her traveling to different countries, while learning how to apply field work strategies to support individuals or populations that are affected by catastrophic or disastrous events. She also wanted to work for the Red Cross and help others in different countries.

Aylana was a 'compassionate soul' and beautiful intelligent young lady. She was a humanitarian, who was very charitable.

Aylana is an inspiration to us all. Our family and friends will forever be proud of her and the significant impact her life has made.
