Robert Lee Miller, 80, of Xenia, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Soin Medical Center. He was born July 8, 1942, in Xenia, Ohio, the son of W. Chancellor and Lucile Ireland Miller. He was a 1960 graduate of Xenia High School, a member of Eleazer United Methodist Church, and was an active member of the Greene County Adult Concert Band. He also enjoyed playing the guitar and being part of the Greater Dayton Corvette Club. He is survived by his wife, Carol (Howard) Miller, whom he married, December 30, 1961, a daughter, Melanie Sherby, Maineville, a son, Michael (Kim) Miller, Springfield, son-in-law, David Sollenberger, Xenia, five grandchildren, Tyler Miller, Cincinnati, Chelsea Sollenberger and Chandler Sollenberger, Dayton, Cheney Sollenberger, Xenia, and Chelsea Harrison, Springfield, a sister-in-law, Sharon Miller, Xenia, by two nephews, Kevin Miller and Keith Miller, and by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Michelle Sollenberger, and by his twin brother, Kenneth W. Miller. Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Services will be held at 11am, Thursday, March 16, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Visitation will be held from 10am Thursday, until service time. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Greene County Adult Band, c/o Jeanne Meyers, 4941 Arabian Dr., Fairborn, OH, 45324, in his memory.
