Sutton resident Ronald Eugene Reutzel, 77, passed away Monday, March 20, 2023, at Bryan Medical Center East Campus in Lincoln, NE.
Ronald Eugene Reutzel was born in Sutton, NE., to parents Roy and Irene (Witherbee) Reutzel. He received his B.A. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and was employed by Lincoln Electric System. He also served as an Assistant Scoutmaster, Hunter Education Teacher, a member of the PTA at Raymond Central HS, and Coach for the Trap Shooting Team at Lincoln High.
Ron was an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman, and was active in his community and The Federated Church of Sutton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Irene; and brother, Glen.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, at the Firth Cemetery in Firth, NE.
