Viola Ellen McFarland, 80, of Rt. 12, Lafayette, died Wednesday morning in Breckenridge County Hospital, Hardinsburg, Ky., where she had been only a short while.

Mrs. McFarland is survived by her husband, Oris, and six daughters, Mrs. Clell Sanders, Mrs. Russell Gilpin and Mrs. Clarence Reid, all of Liberty, Ky., Mrs. Cleo Funk of Monroe, Mrs. Lindel Eberly of Pine Village and Mrs. Roy Sutherland of Bradenburg, KY; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
