"On the morning of the 21st inst., at a quarter past seven, little Mary, infant daughter of George M. and Martha F. Bowles, died of bronchitis, aged about one year and eleven months. Little Mary was one of the sweetest girls that we ever knew. She was loved by all who knew her, and we doubt if there could have been another taken from among us, who would have been missed as much as she. Drs Williams and Guibor attended her and did their utmost, but all to no purpose. The remains were buried at Fenton on the day following her death. Her parents have the sympathy of the entire community in this, their sad bereavement."
