Mr. Beasley and his wife had gone to their daughter’s home at the Beach for a week and stay, when the fatal attack came.
The deceased was born at Hampton but had resided in Alachua County since boyhood, and for the past forty years had been a popular resident of Hawthorne. He is survived by five daughters, one son, and twelve grandchildren. (Palatka Times-Herald Obituary dtd Friday, 11 Oct 1946.)
