Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Ann Alexander Bryant of Louisville, who died Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at her home.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 26, 2023, at 3:00 pm in the First Baptist Church Louisville with Rev. Jonathan Melchior and Rev. David Boggs officiating. Pallbearers will be Mike McDowell, Randy Sharpe, Larry Stanley, Robby Brett, Brad Campbell and Frank Etheridge. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Bryant was born in Louisville a daughter of Ralph F. Alexander and Mary Rowland Alexander. She graduated of Louisville Academy and in 1952 from the Draughon Business College in Augusta. She had retired from Jefferson County Transit as a Van driver and she had her own business "Ann's Better Buys" She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church Louisville. She loved flowers and birds, but Ann's greatest pastime was spending time with her family.

Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 46 years William V. Bryant, brother, Dr. Jimmy Alexander, brother in-law, Lloyd Martin, and is survived by her sons David Bryant (Angie) of Louisville and Mark Bryant (Linda) of Louisville, daughter Janice Farr (Jeff) of Gainesville, sister, Rosalyn Martin of Louisville, sister in-law Linda Alexander of Waynesboro, grandchildren Shannon Polczynski (Chris), Bekki Hall (Aaron), Lauren Woods, Dr. Dayton Preslar (Hannah), Alyssa Preslar, Steven Farr (Kristen), Nathan Farr (Whitney), Kristen Farr, Kalein Bryant (Elizabeth), Alison Bryant (Boone), great grandchildren Tanner Hall, Emmie Hall, Zoie Bryant, Brayden Bryant, Adalynn Bostick, Remi Ann Bostic, Jack Harrill (Jessica), Sara Dampier, great great grandchildren Carter Harrill, Hudson Harrill, Bailor Harrill, Parker Harrill and Max Harrill, and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 25, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

The family requests in lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Louisville.
