Stanley Roger Clayton passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023, having lived a very full life. He was 94 years old.

Stanley was born May 23, 1928, in Grayson county, Texas. He attended Austin college as a math major and retired from Champion Paper Company at the age of 55 to pursue his love of woodworking.

Stanley known as Fuzzy to his friends had an entrepreneurial spirit owning a variety of businesses during his lifetime before deciding to exclusively refinish antique furniture for the community. He could bring life to even the most damaged piece of furniture to its original beauty! One of his greatest attributes was the love he had for his family. Stan was also a prankster with a great sense of humor! He was a loyal friend to have and always there when you needed him.

Stanley was preceded in death by his first wife, Billye Rea Harper.

He is survived by his second wife, Lillian Marie Roche, and his three children with Billye: Dennis Harper Clayton, Damon Roger Clayton and Leasa DeAnn Clayton. He was blessed with 8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

The visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX. The funeral will follow immediately at 10 a.m. - all are invited to attend.

Lunch will be provided at 11:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall at South Main Baptist Church, 4300 East Sam Houston Pkwy S, Pasadena
