Tommie Olivia Curtis Askew passed away on January 14, 2011 in Carson City, Nevada. She was born September 29, 1916 in Stigler, Oklahoma and in 1933 she married Norman "Buddy" Askew in Childress, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1992 and is survived by her two sons and their wives, Danny And Carolyn Askew of Manteca and Mike and Dianne Askew of Carson City, Nevada and her grandchildren and their spouses, Marty and Michelle Askew of Tucson, Arizona, Kimberly Askew of Los Angeles and Christell Askew-Hans and Christopher Hanks of Tunbridge Wells, England and their daughter Chloe.
Tommie enjoyed bowling and quilting. She volunteered for many years with the Hospital Guild and the Chowchilla Little league.
