"U.S., World War I Draft Registration Cards, 1917-1918 Jacob Peter Yokey"
"U.S., World War II Draft Registration Cards, 1942 John Peter Yokey"
"Peter" was his preferred name, as it shows on his headstone and several other records.
"Peter" never married. He was a farmer in Lapeer County, along with his family. His family are all buried next to each other in the upper right hand side of this lovely old country cemetery.

"Burnside, Oct 26 – Peter J. Yokey, 66, lifelong farmer in this vicinity, died Friday in Bishop Hospital, Almont, after a short illness.
He was born April 10, 1884 near Burnside, the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Phillip Yokey. He has no living relatives and never married.
The remains are in the Marsh funeral home, Marlette, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday with Rev. Paul Pumphrey, pastor of Marlette Methodist church officiating.
Burial will be in Burnside Cemetery."
