Charlene K. Kingsley, of Miller, MO departed this life on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at the Good Shepherd Community Care and Rehabilitation Facility in Lockwood, MO at the age of 86.

She was born on January 20, 1937 in Richmond, IN to Milferd and Ethel (Denlinger) Eikenberry. Charlene graduated from Lanier High School in West Alexandria, OH. She graduated from Manchester College in Indiana with her LPN Degree. Charlene was united in marriage to J.W. Kingsley on May 29, 1965 in Mt. Vernon, MO. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren in Ohio, and attended the Highland Chapel Church in Miller, MO for many years. She enjoyed reading the bible. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, and eating ice cream.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Milferd and Ethel Eikenberry; her husband, J.W. Kingsley; one son, Kaleb Kingsley; two sisters, Evelyn Marshall and Doris Eikenberry; and one grandson, Kaleb Kingsley.

Survivors include three sons, Kiman Kingsley and Judy of Miller, MO, Kaland Kingsley and Kristen of Lockwood, MO, and Kevin Kingsley and Lisa of Lamar, MO; one daughter, Karen Melgard and Rick of Milford, OH; five grandchildren, Cheyenne Kingsley, Alicyn Kingsley, Luke Kingsley, Ethan Melgard, and Bryce Melgard; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Highland Chapel Church. Burial will follow in Goss Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Highland Chapel Church. Services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chape
