Daughter of James and Eunice (Pomeroy) Easton. Married Amos Lay on Sept. 21, 1800 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Previous residence was Albany, NY, where the Lays were members of the Methodist church. Died of typhus. Aged 55 years.

Originally interred in Range A North, No. 23 of the Second Presbyterian burial ground on Arch Street. Removed to Mount Vernon Cemetery on April 26, 1867.
