Floyd Basil Maddry was born May 24, 1939 in Oklahoma City the son of William Basil and Mary Viola (Wenthold) Maddry. He completed this life on Friday, March 31, 2023 at his home in Oklahoma City at the age of 83.

Floyd married Patricia "Pat" Ann Weaver on September 15, 1962 in Oklahoma City. They celebrated 60 years of marriage. They owned and operated State Beauty Supply Northwest in Oklahoma City for a number of years. They sold the business when they retired ten years ago.

Floyd and Pat had two children, Chance Alan Maddry and Alicia Maddry Galbo,, who preceded them in death. Floyd was also preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Rita Inman.

Floyd is survived by his wife of 60 years, Pat Maddry; his son-in-law, Stuart Galbo; his granddaughter, Rebecca Galbo; his great grandson, Travis Galbo; and his sister, Annette Guillotte and her husband Van.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Tuesday, April 4th in Christ the King Catholic Church, 8005 Dorset Drive. A reception will follow in the atrium. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
