Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at Ray Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Stacy and Delbert Dean officiating. Burial will follow at Lehrton Cemetery in Ruleville. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Ray Funeral Home.
She was born October 31, 1939, in Bolivar County to Clarence L. and Venice Mabry Reynolds.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence L. and Venice Mabry Reynolds; husband, Henry Miller Phillips Sr.; and two brothers, Billy Merritt Reynolds and Bobby Clarence Reynolds.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Ellen Benjamin (Steve) of Provo, Utah; two sons, Henry Miller Phillips Jr. of Greenville and Sammy Jo Phillips (Chrissa) of Walker, La; two brothers, Joe Leroy Reynolds (Judy) of Katy, TX and James Alden Reynolds (Frankie) of Marietta Ga; three sisters, Nina Margaret Reynolds Price of Cleveland, Martha Ann Reynolds Simmons and Barbara Ellen Reynolds, both of Houston, TX; nine grandchildren, Samatha Benjamin, Maribeth Phillips, Hali Phillips, Henry Miller Phillips III, Raven Phillips, Bretlyn Phillips, Patrick Phillips and Christopher Phillips.
Pallbearers will be Willie Free, Bo Watson, David Blaylock, Bruce Price, David Price, Santo Borganelli, Thorton McDonald, Charles McGraw and Davin Parker.
