Max Wilton Thurmond, age 85 of Nashville, TN, died June 24, 2013. He was a faithful Christian, husband and father. Survived by his wife of 66 years, Carolyn Thurmond; daughters, Annette (Tommy) Hawkins and Suzanne Thurmond; son, Michael (Melanie) Thurmond; grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister, Linda Winn.
Funeral service will be conducted 10 am, Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road by Wesley Walker. Interment 3 pm at Highland Park Cemetery, Mayfield, KY. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
