Charles "Wayne" Bishop, age 78, of Plymouth, passed away on December 14, 2021 surrounded by
his wife and daughters. He was born in Plymouth on March 16, 1943 to the late Charles
"Chuck" and Mary Jane "Cochran" Bishop.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Mark Bishop, mother-in-law,
Shirley Jones, and nephew, Travis Heet.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Pam; daughters, Casie (Mike) Dalton; and Mandy
(Matt) Winrotte. He was "Paw" to his grandchildren, Dustin Rowe; Mackenzie Winrotte; Micah
Winrotte; and Malakai Winrotte.
He is survived by his brother, Steve Bishop; his sister, Alanna (Larry) Heet along with their children; and
his sister-in-law Penny Sommers. Beloved "Uncle Wayne" to nephew Nick; and nieces (Jaquelyn)
Sommers; Deserra (Jason) Lewis; Jenny (Mike) McCreary; Terah (Chris) Stoops; Amber (Chris)
Hartman; and their children.
Wayne will be fondly remembered by family and friends for the love and joy that he brought to
them. He was a comfort and valued his family to the fullest.
Family and friends will be gathered on Saturday, December 18, 2021 to remember Wayne. The
funeral services will be held at Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home (300 W. Madison St., Plymouth, IN 46563). Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. with the formal service to follow.
