Sandra Honaker Yost, 76 of Point Pleasant, formerly of Hinton, died at 1:20 a.m. Saturday 1 Apr 2023 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown following a battle with surgical complications.
Born 26 Nov 1946 in Hinton, she is the daughter of Margie Cooper Mock of Hinton & the late Donald F. Mock Sr.
Sandy was a 1964 graduate of Hinton High School and was loved by everyone who knew her. As a young girl, she was known to make her male peers run in fear of her right hook. Her work ethic was un-matched. She had many occupations over the span of her life, and she did each with excellence. Her family was her life. If you ran into her at the store, you'd surely hear about them.
Besides her father she is preceded in death by her first husband, Billy Ray Honaker; and one brother, Donald F. "Freddie" Mock, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday 5 Apr 2023, at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Jeff Canterbury officiating. Entombment will follow at Greenbrier Burial Park Mausoleum in Hinton. Friends may visit the family from 6pm-8pm at the funeral home on Tuesday 4 Apr 2023.
