Daughter of the late Gustavius Allen and Margaret Ollie Bowers. She graduated from Woodward High School in 1938. She married Robert Ronnie Carpenter on June 8, 1940, in Mooreland, OK. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband (August 2, 1991), by one brother and by one sister. She was survived by two daughters, one son, grandchildren, and an extended family of relatives and friends.
