Former West Point LADY Dies in Omaha
The Tuesday Omaha World-Herald carried a notice of the death of Mrs. Martha Thiemke, 74, who died at her home on Sunday morning. Her husband was the former Fred Thiemke, and was well known to many West Pointers.
There are two daughters, Miss Selma Thiemke and Mrs. George Osten, three brothers, one sister and one grandson.
Funeral services were held in Omaha on Tuesday at 2 pm at the First Lutheran church with Rev. Acker officiating. Interment was made in West Lawn cemetery.
