MITCHELL, Opal M., 94, of Lakeland and Tampa, passed away on March 9, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. Mitchell and a daughter, Alva Josephine (Davis) Blair. She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Pipkins and Sandra Kelley; a son Steven; 20 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren and a sister-in-law Louise Davis. Mrs. Mitchell was a Baptist by faith. Friends may visit at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, Tampa, on Friday, March 14, 2008 from 6 to 8 PM. A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 10 AM at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. Should friends desire memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Good Shepherd Hospice 105 Arneson Ave. Auburndale, FL 33823.
