Obituary by Berks Cremations, Oley, Pa.

Annabell Marie Axler passed away on December 4, 2021, at the Mifflin Center, in Shillington, PA. She was 95 years old but was so full of life. Her friends at Mifflin Center will truly miss her and have cherished their time spent with her. She was the loving friend of many and had much extended family. She was a joy, and kindness, and light. Annabell devoted her life to helping others and did so constantly and selflessly. She touched so many people, and fond memories of her will live on in the hearts of many. Annabell treasured her time spent on Penn Street in Reading, in particular her time spent with her friends at the Marvel Ranch and at the bank. She enjoyed reading her Bible, doing word search puzzles, singing hymns, and dancing…and she had some moves! Her favorite song was Silent Night, and she so beautifully sang it in alto. Annabelle is survived by her dear friends Tom and Joan Rutt and their family, and Anji Heinly, all of whom loved her dearly. Please remember Annabell with a smile on your face. In lieu of flowers or contributions, please help someone in need, or go out of your way to make someone smile, in honor of Annabell and what she stood for. Cremation Society of Berks County, Inc., is in charge of arrangements.
