Emyle L. Dozier, 85, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, died Wednesday, December 28, 2011. He was born June 17, 1926 in Guion, Arkansas to the late Jesse S. and Lillian Ethel (Ball) Dozier. He was a member of Cedar Mountain Missionary Baptist Church and a Navy Veteran of World War II.

Emyle is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Mary Lou Dozier and one brother Euel Dozier. He is survived by his wife Etty B. Dozier; two daughters and son-in-laws Lillian and Jackie Kennerly and Chyrll and Gary Cate all of Malvern; step-daughter Debbie Buxton of Hot Springs; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nephews Mike, Steve and Jim Dozier.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Scott Culpepper officiating. Burial will follow in Glazier Peau Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Rod Kennerly, Ryan Kennerly, Gary K. Cate, Austin Davidson, Adam Davidson and James Birmingham, Jr.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Nancy Morris, Robin Lawson and the staff at National Park Medical Center Skilled Nursing Unit.
