Diane Moudelle Grable (Woehrel), 81 ascended into Heaven to join her beloved husband, Rodney Dale Grable, son, Rodney Dennis Grable, brother, Dennis Woehrel and parents Crescy & Moudelle Woehrel on April 14, 2022.

Diane was born in Aurora, Illinois on May 8, 1940. She grew up in Downers Grove, Illinois where she was a proud graduate of Downers Grove North High School. After high school she moved west to San Diego to enjoy sunshine, warmer weather & the beaches. That's where she met the love of her life, Rodney who was a Navy Sailor at the time. After dating for two years, they married October 14, 1960 in Las Vegas, NV. Diane was a telephone operator for GTE, working in the Los Angeles area where her and Rodney started their family. After 30 years of living in the San Gabriel Valley (Covina, CA), they built a home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. This is where they both would live out the remainder of their lives over the next three decades.

Diane and Rodney were married for 52 years before his passing in 2013. They created many amazing memories together as a family with their children both in Los Angeles and Lake Havasu City. She enjoyed family vacations, road trips and camping with Rodney and her children. Diane worked at the Lake Havasu City Wal-Mart where she was a beloved cashier to all her customers for almost two decades. Diane was an avid traveler and loved spending time in Europe. Her favorite places were Spain, Portugal and Paris. She had a passion for fashion, beauty and all things associated with the arts; music, movies, broadway, sports, reading and crafting. Diane was an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Colonial Dames for many years. She loved being able to study genealogy and trace her heritage to the revolutionary war and colonial era.

She is survived by her daughters: Dana, Cheryl, Scarlett and Elizabeth, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Diane was laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Covina Hills next to her husband and son on Tuesday, May 10, 2022.

We love you forever and always, Mom. Until we meet again. Bless you in Heaven.
