David Okle Albritton, 60, who was born in Bradley Junction in Polk County and resided in Manatee County most of his life, died Thursday at Manatee Memorial Hospital. Retired, he had owned and operated Albritton Sausage Co. He lived at 2319 Drive E., Oneco. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Samoset. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Annie Laura Albritton; his mother, Mrs. Ida Kennedy Albritton of Oneco; two daughters, Mrs. Linda Shalash of Lexington, Ky., and Mrs. Ginger Nobles of Naples; a son, Gilbert Albritton of Bradenton; seven sisters, Mrs. Clara Stephens, Mrs. Murriel Ward and Mrs. Faye Williams, all of Bradenton, Mrs. Susie Earnest of Tallahassee, Mrs. Edith Saunders of Indiana, Mrs. Theda McLaughlin of Seattle, Wash., and Miss Thelma Albritton of St. Petersburg; two brothers, Leon Albritton of Bradenton and Toliver Albritton of Indiana; and seven grandchildren. Friends may call today until 9 p.m. at Griffith-Cline Bradenton Chapel. The funeral services at 4 p.m. Saturday at Griffith-Cline Bradenton Chapel will be conducted by Rev. Clyde Duncan, pastor of the Oneco First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Braden River Cemetery.
