Deacon Christopher Moore, 52, was born in Iredell County on October 1, 1970, to the late Troy L. Brawley and Margie Nells Gibbs. He departed this life on Monday, April 10, 2023, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, Winston Salem, N.C.

Christopher graduated from Statesville High School with the Class of 1989 and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He was affectionately known as Chris by his friends and family. Chris served as a Deacon at his church, New Faith Trinity, and was married to the love of his life Tina Shonna Weeks Moore.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Christine Ramseur; and a brother, Troy Lee Brawley Jr.

He leaves to cherish the memory of his life his wife, Tina Shonna Weeks Moore; four children, Kelli Caldwell of Statesville, NC, Christopher Moore Jr. Of Statesville, NC, Antonio Moore of Winston Salem, NC, and Christian Moore of Statesville, NC; father-in-law, John Leach; mother-in-law, Denise Leach; one brother, Harry Moore of Statesville, NC; one sister, Stephanie (Curtis) Reid of Statesville, NC; two sisters-in-law, Tinka Leach of Salisbury, NC, and Laisha Weeks of Kannapolis, NC; special friends, "Fab Five", and Rob Morrison; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, April 17, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Christian Outreach of the Piedmont. Visitation will be from 12:00 –1:00 pm at the church and burial will follow in Iredell Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Shirley Blackwell will deliver the eulogy.
