Richard Erle Burke, 72, of Cameron died Sunday, March 23 in a Temple hospital. Services 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home. Burial Oak Hill Cemetery. Mr. Burke, a retired computer supervisor for Santa Fe Railroad, was born August 3, 1930 in Cameron to Erle Curtis and Marguerite Cooley Burke. He married Barbara Evers on December 22, 1956. Mr. Burke was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean conflict. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by: his wife, Barbara Burke of Cameron and his daughter, Jan Stevens of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
