Edmund Lee Lyster passed away at his home in Hemlock from pneumonia, February 20, 1937 at the age of 49 years, 4 months and 25 days, on the same farm where he was born on September 25, 1887.

He was married to Birdie Coulson, July 18, 1910, and is survived by his widow and four children, Edmund, Musetta, Patricia and James. Three other children preceded him in death, Baby Lyster, Donald and Raymond. He is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Connie Dye of Tillamook and three brothers, A.B. Lyster, Tillamook; Ted Lyster, San Francisco; and Robert Lyster of Bradwood, Ore. His father died January 8, 1928 and his mother on January 25 of this year. He leaves other relatives and a host of friends.

He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge of Cloverdale where he received his 25 year jewel in 1935. Funeral services were held at the Nazarene Church in Tillamook on Tuesday with Rev. Herman L.J. Smith and Rev. Glade Baker in charge of the services. His fraternal organization performed the last rites at the graveside.
