Andrew is not buried here; however, his ashes were spread here. He was a great friend who we considered family. Andrew spent many hours at this cemetery helping me remove trees, repair or replace fencing, and maintain the property. He had a kind heart and was always ready to help no matter the difficulty. Even though no one buried here is his bloodline, he wanted to know the history of the cemetery and the folks buried here. I enjoyed being able to tell him all I knew about my family and their long history in Rutherford County.
He will be missed by all who knew him, and this memorial will serve as a reminder that family is often a choice and not always blood.
