Funeral service for Judy Anita Hale-Whisenant, age 77, of Hillsboro, will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Morris Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Hale-Whisenant passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Mitchell Hollingsworth NRC in Florence, AL. She was born November 22, 1945, to Ollie Oscar "Pa" Hale and Edwin Marie "Toots" Terry Hale. She was retired from Avon as District Manager for District 1140. During her years with Avon, she was able to travel the world. She was a member of Chalybeate Springs Baptist Church. When she was able, she loved to work outdoors, especially with her roses. She loved her family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Jeffery Lynn Parker (Melony); her daughter, Kathy Parker Alexander (Ronnie); and granddaughter, Sonya Lynne Parker Osborne (Matt).

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Whisenant, Sr.; son, Scottie Oscar Parker; parents; and brother, Ollie Gene Hale.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
