He was born Sept. 16, 1932 in Morristown, Tenn. a son of the late Harold Joseph and Jeannette Murrell Reiland, Sr. Mr. Reiland was a member of Fountain Inn Presbyterian Church, a 1957 graduate of East Tennessee State University, he had proudly served in the U.S. Naval Reserve and had made many lifetime friends during his career in trucking, traffic and safety.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Gena and Bob Antonelli and Ruth and Robert Clark, all of Columbia, S.C.; son, Joe Reiland of Fountain Inn, S.C.; granddaughters, Juliana Head, her husband Nathen and Gracie Antonelli; several nieces and nephews as well as other loving in-laws.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Audrey Brady Reiland and two sisters.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 13, 2008, at Graceland East Memorial Gardens with Memorial services to follow at 2 p.m. at Fountain Inn Presbyterian Church with Dr. Stevie Stone officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at Cannon Funerals and Cremations, Fountain Inn, S.C.
