Sonja Helene "Sunny" Yeager, 86 of Fayetteville passed away April 19, 2023 at Washington Regional Medical Center.
She was born August 30, 1936 in Brooklyn, New York to Frank and Mildred Fladell Caracciolo.
Sunny worked in the family construction business and was an incredible homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and loved her family and friends.
She was a member of the ladies auxiliary of the Wheeler Fire Department and with the Ozark Cattlemen's Association.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, her husband, Leonard Wayne "Red" Yeager and her son-in-law, Rodney Pianalto.
Survivors include her children, David Yeager (Frances) of Fayetteville, Terry Yeager (Mary) of Atlanta, Georgia, Margie Pianalto of Cassville, Missouri, and Dee Ann Morrow (Brent) of Rogers. Other survivors include twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Monday, April 24, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with funeral services following at 2:00 pm. Burial services will follow at Wilson Cemetery (3000 Wilson Cemetery Road - Springdale).
