Robert "Bob" J. Cahill passed away on Monday, December 3, 2012 in the presence of family. Loyal and devoted husband of 60 years to (his wife). Beloved son of late Kathleen Mary and Edward Joseph Cahill. Son-in-law of late Earl Thomas Kelly, Sr and wife Katherine. Devoted Father of (three sons and one daughter). Grandfather to (five grandchildren). Great grandfather to (three great-grandchildren).

Bob served his country as a sergeant in the United States Air Force and his community as a New Orleans Policeman. He retired as an assistant director of plant operations at Loyola University of New Orleans. His commitment to his family and the integrity he showed during his life is an example to all. His family feels honored to have had him so long in their lives. Aged 80 years, he was a native of New York, New York, and a resident of New Orleans, La. for 67 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend Funeral Mass at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr. Metairie, Louisiana on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 1:00 pm with visitation from 11:00 am until Mass time. Interment in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
