Minor Luther Millwee, 88 of DeQueen died Thursday , May 4, 2006 in a local hospital. Mr. Millwee was born May 10, 1917, in Horatio, Ark. He was a retired mail carrier, a justice of the peace, past president and charter menber of Lions Club, a member of Crusaders Sunday School class, choir and First United Methodist Church and a world War II Army and Air Force Veteran . He was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Jim Latimer, Millwee, on March 22, 2006 and one daughter Melanie Millwee Lignitz. Survivors incluse one son and daughter in law, Marc and Kathy Millwee;four grandchildren, Jeremy Lignitz of McKinnleville, Calf, Mesha Leaper of Royse City Texas, Marcus Millwee of Double Oaks, Texas , and Sterling Harris of DeQueen: four great grand children; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Wilkerson with the Revs. J.J.Walker and Dr. Rockey Starnes offociating. Burial will be in Millwee Cemetery. Vistation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church or DeQueen Lions Club.
