Esther Virginia Ainsworth, 93, Lexington, MO, died Saturday, May 8, 2004, at the Rosewood Health Center, Independence, MO. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 12 at 2 p.m. at the Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Greenton Cemetery, rural Odessa, MO. Memorials may be left to the Greenton Baptist Church. Esther Virginia Kite was born November 8, 1910, to Walter and Jemima Colvin Kite. She married William Warner Boone on October 3, 1929. He preceded her in death on March 9, 1966. She later married Harold Ainsworth on June 10, 1972, and he preceded her in death on September 3, 1997. Esther had worked at Lake City Ammunition Plant and Pratt Whitney during WWII. She later worked for Mattingly Stores in Odessa from 1967-1973. Esther is survived by four stepchildren, Diane Ainsworth, Danbury, CT, Harold Thomas (Tom) Ainsworth, Jr., and his wife Carol, Lexington, MO, David Ainsworth and his wife Teresa, Lawson, MO, and Bruce Ainsworth and his wife Mary, Lee's Summit, MO. There are 18 grandchildren and 26 greatgrandchildren. Esther was preceded in death by her parents and husbands William and Harold, three brothers, Aubrey, Herbert, Leroy, and sister Orene Hindersman.
