Kenneth Lee Berry, age 74, of Clarkesville, formerly of Buford, Georgia went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 16, 2008 of complications from blood clots and cancer. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 19 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Tapp/Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Hayes, Bobby Berry and James Berry officiating. Burial will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens.
Originally a native of Luray, Virginia, he was preceded in death by his parents Francis and Carrie Berry and his eldest son George David Berry.
An Army Sergeant who served in the Korean War and also a member of Evangel Assembly of God, he is survived by his wife of 53 years Vallie Ruth Born Berry; Children: Rebecca Jordan and James Winton C. Berry; Grandchildren: Matthew and wife Joann, Christine and Jennifer; Great Grandchildren: Jacob and John Michael; Sister: Frances Sims; Brother: Jimmy and wife Janice; Nieces and Nephews: Ruth Jane, Kenny, Bobby, Mary Lee and Marie; Extended Families in Virginia.
A loving Granddad to more children than we can list, he will be sorely missed by us all.
