Margaret Mary Catherine Fairweather, age 92,of Sheffield Lake, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 29th, 2023.

She was born Margaret Ossler on July 19, 1930, in Chicago, IL, where she attended Sacred Heart School, elementary through high school, located right across the street from her childhood home. She met the love of her life, James Clifford Fairweather, in Chicago where they started their family before moving to Cleveland. She is remembered as a devoted wife and spirited mother, who maintained a lighthearted attitude while raising six independent children. For several decades, she was an active member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and worked at Sheffield Lake City Hall as the City Treasurer's Clerk.

She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, James Clifford Fairweather, and her two brothers, Edward and Donald Ossler. Survivors include 6 children; Susan(John-de'cd) Woolsey, Daniel (Mary) Fairweather, James (Akiko) Fairweather, Michael E. Fairweather, Mary Lou (Edward Smith) Fairweather, Timothy (Jessica) Fairweather, 8 grandchildren; Becky, Ginny, Joe, Ashley, Sara, Mathew, Silas, Madeline, 5 great grandchildren; Miriam, Cecilia, Hildi, Liam and Ariel, and several nieces & nephews.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, 1878 Abbe Rd. North, Sheffield. Interment will follow in St. Teresa of
Avila cemetery. MISENCIK FUNERAL HOME in Avon is in charge of arrangements.
