He was born November 21, 1895, at Brentwood, the son of Simeon Washington and Mary Adeline (Nance) Parrish.
He was a retired section forman for the Frisco railroad.
He is survived by his wife, Floy E. (Hutchens) Parrish; a son, Lydall Parrish; two daughters, Jerri Vevadell Barker and Melva Porter; two brothers, James Parrish and Oscar Sa,muel Parrish; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 17, 1976 at the Brentwood church.
Burial is in the Brentwood Cemetery.
