Funeral services for Mr. Lela
Ann Dye of Holcomb will
be conducted Saturday at 4 p.m.
at the McDaniel Funeral
Home Chapel in Kennett with
Rev. Lloyd Murrell officiating.
assisted by Rev. Bob Bradford.
Burial will be in Lloyd Cemetery
with the McDaniel Funeral
Home of Kennett in charge of
arragements.
The daughter of the late
Obediah David and Sarah C.
Crittenden, she was
born December 25, 1892 in Holcomb.
On May 1, 1907, she was
married to Alfred "Alf" Burton Dye, who
survives. She died Thursday at
the Dunklin county Memorial
Hospital in Kennett at the age
of 72 years, seven months and
24 days.
Survivors include her husband,
Alfred B. Dye; seven
daughters, Opal Rainey, Sybil
Brown, Edith Bradshaw and
Betty Jo Lutes all of Holcomb,
Ethel Whaley of Poplar Bluff,
and Hazel Blue and Mrs. Leon
Ladd both of St. Louis; four
sons, Edgar Dye and Gene Dye
both of Holcomb, and Alfred
B. and Paul Dye both of Michigan;
55 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren and one great=
great grandchild.
Three children preceded her
in death.
Mrs. Dye's body will lie in
state at the McDaniel Funeral
Home in Kennett until service
time.
