Dr. Breene Murphy, DDS passed away peacefully in Fullerton, California, on December 2, 2018. He was 94. Breene was born and raised in Whittier, California, son of Dr Leslie William Murphy, DDS, and Lillie Breene Murphy. He attended Whittier High School, and while still a teenager, served as a U.S. Navy Corpsman in WWII. Graduating from USC with a degree in Dentistry, he then returned to his hometown, Whittier, to join his father's practice. While at USC, he met Delta Sneddon. They were married for 67 years until Delta's passing in 2013.
Survivors include two sons: Kevin and Bryan. Also, by Kevin's wife Ellie, their two sons, Breene and wife Alexandra and great-grandson Reyn Robert; and Reyn, and his wife Kalesa; as well as by Bryan's wife Diana, their four sons, Cory, Sandy, Jody and Shelby, and Shelby's wife Vanessa.
Private family services will be held December 2018.
