After making numerous attempts to commit suicide, Harry Snyder, 30, of Clearwater, succeeded in hanging himself in a cell of the Duval county jail, where the demented young man had been put several days ago for safe keeping. He, while in an insane condition was brought to Jacksonville a week ago for treatment in the Miller sanitarium. Snyder became so violent there that he could not be kept there. While in the sanitarium he made several attempts to commit suicide, deliberately jumping from a second-story window of the hospital, sustaining but a few bruises.
