Jessie ReyerThe funeral for Jessie Junior Reyer, 75, of Ardmore, will be 4 p.m. today at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with Dr. Ray Stonecypher and the Rev. Lynn Marshall officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery.Mr. Reyer died Thursday, March 13, 2008 at Huntsville Hospital.Mr. Reyer was born March 17, 1932, in Ardmore to Daniel Absolum Reyer and Elizabeth McGuire Reyer. He lived all his life in this area. He was a member of Piney Grove Baptist church. He liked gardening and fishing, working with his tractor and fellowship with friends. He loved Alabama football and Braves baseball. He was a member of F and AM Masonic Lodge 24 of Ardmore. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Henry Reyer and J.D. Reyer, and one sister, Georgia Mae Thompson.Survivors include his wife, Betty June Reyer of Ardmore; two sons, Johnny Reyer and wife Pam of Elkmont, and Jimmy L. Reyer of Ardmore; one daughter, Vickie Reyer of Ardmore; one brother, Sam Reyer of Elkmont; three sisters, Ruth Bryant of Taft, Tenn., and Annell Campbell and Betty Campbell, both of Ardmore; eight grandchildren, Tim McMunn; April McMunn Blade and husband Dustin; Matthew McMunn and wife Amanda; Chala Reyer Boyd and husband Terry Bob; Daniel Reyer and wife Darla; Jimmy Lee Reyer II; Tammy Russell Robinson and husband Kevin; and Lorrie Joines Owen and husband Jeremy; and 10 great-grandchildren.Grandsons and grandsons-in-law will be pallbearers.Honorary pallbearers will be his Piney Grove Sunday School class and Masonic Lodge brothers.
