He married the love of his life, Anna (Alapai) Darmody on April 27, 1957 in San Francisco. He served in the U.S. Army for 23 years and retired with the rank of First Sergeant. Mr. Darmody was employed by Springs Gas Service, had his own small engine repair business and worked as a Charter Driver for Pikes Peak Tours. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post 3917 and Trea Chapter 1. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Anna; daughters, Laura Fini, Leslie Loehr, Valerie Kuhel and Melissa Mazzillo; sister, Donna McGinty and niece, Heather Hinch of Fort Lauderdale, FL; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends.
