Betty was born May 26, 1938 in Davenport, OK and graduated from Davenport High School in 1956. She began a career as an executive assistant at Electrolux Corporate Headquarters in Tulsa following her graduation. In 1958 she married Henry Jones. They moved to Oklahoma City and started their family, and Henry began his career with the Oklahoma City Police Department. They raised their three daughters in Oklahoma City, Yukon and Chickasha, where Betty was office manager at several businesses.
Upon retirement, Henry and Betty moved to Davenport where they lived for 24 years among many good friends and family. In 2010 they moved to Yukon to be near their daughters and grandchildren. Betty has lived in Assisted Living in Yukon for the past several years.
Betty was generous and thoughtful. She made a happy home for her family. She enjoyed "coffee talks" with her friends and family and spoiling first her grandchildren, and then her great grandchildren. She was an avid reader and an amazing crossword puzzle solver.
Survivors include her three daughters and sons-in-law: Danna Clark & Paul, Susan Bailey & Evans, Gay Brucker & Rich, her sister: Sue Blakely, her sister-in-law: Shirley Johnson, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Henry Jones, immediate family members: father, Ones Johnson, mother, Sylvia Johnson, sister, Barbara Clark and brother, Bud Johnson.
