George E. Kornbau, 91, Husband of the late Atilla Shearer Kornbau died at 1:15 pm at his home in Jacobus. George and Tillie married in York, Pa September 15, 1895
He was a retired carpenter and a mason, was a son of the late John and Catherine Aughenbaugh Kornbau. He was a member of Salem United church of Christ and Goodwill Fire company. He is survived by the following children; Clarence, Cletus, Lloyd, , Olevia Heiland, Mary Hamberger, Pauline Emig and a son predeceased Pius Kornbau.
Funeral services were conducted at the Leader Mortuary. Rev John M. Herzo, Dallastown, retired United Church of Christ, minister, officiated in the absnece of Mr. Kornbau's minister Rev Francis A. Leiby. Interment was in Salem Union Church Cemetery
