Dau. of L.Smith & Lucinda Lindsley.

From the Oneida Semi-Weekly Democratic Union
Saturday February 4, 1899
Miss Ella Lindsley died at the home of her mother, at Pratt's Hollow, on Tuesday and we buried in the cemetery in Stockbridge yesterday. She was about 40 years of age and death was caused indirectly from the effects of burns sustained when she was a child. The ignition and explosion of a can of kerosene in her early life burned her face frightfully. For the past two years her health has steadily declined and a month or so ago she became critically ill, sinking until death claimed her. Her mother Mrs. Lucinda Lindsley, and one sister Miss Fannie Lindsley, both of whom reside at Pratt's Hollow and one brother Edward of Bridgeport, Conn. survive her.
