Roland Henry Bade, 81, of Granite City died at 5:50 pm Sunday March 21, 2004 at Gateway Medical Center in Granite City, Illinois.
He was born on June 9, 1922 in Granite City. Mr. Bade was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Granite City; and was self employed as a farmer.
Survivors include one nephew John (Ann) Van Deusen of Alton; two nieces, Patty Bade of Granite City and Marsha (Charles) Shea of Godfrey; great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John C. and Henrietta (Winter) Bade; one brother, Ralph W. Bade; one sister, Martha Van Deusen, and one sister-in-law, Ann Bade.
Burial will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Edwardsville, IL.
