Alfred A. Meikle

Conway Springs----Alfred Albert Meikle, 83, who had lived in Conway Springs all his life, died today in a hospital at Wellington.

He was born September 20, 1883 at Millerton, Kansas. He worked for the Missouri-Pacific Railway at Conway Springs, for 22 years and was sexton at the Conway Springs Cemetery for 13 years. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Harold, Inglewood, California, and Kenneth of 336 Lakeview, Derby, Kansas, two daughters, Mrs. Juanita Coffey, San Antonio, Texas, and Mrs. Loretta Hune, 2247 South Osage, Wichita, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Conway Springs-services for Alfred Albert Meikle, 83, Conway Springs, who died today in a Wellington hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Ebersole Chapel, Conway Springs. Burial will be in Conway Springs, Cemetery.
