MADILL RECORD JANUARY 14, 1994

NELSON WOLFE

Graveside services for Nelson Wolfe, 70, of Kingston were held Wednesday.

Mr. Wolfe died Sunday at his home.
Services were held in the Powell Cemetery with Malon Ward officiating.
Music was arranged by Wayne Scribner. Arrangements were made through Watts Funeral Home of Madill.

Mr. Wolfe was born Aug. 6, 1923, in Shaw, the son of the late Elas and Myrtle Wolfe.

He lived most of his life in Marshall County and served with the U.S. Army during World War II.

Mr. Wolfe married the former Pauline Yow. She died May 31, 1992. He later married Josie Yow Peoples and they made their home in Kingston.

He had been a machine operator for the Broadway Glass Company in Muskogee for several years. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife of the home, he is survived by three children, Maggie Hayes and William F. Wolfe of Muskogee and Nelson E. Wolfe of Platte City, Mo.; five stepchildren, Glenda Sallis and Edwin, Floyd, Jimmy and Clifton Peoples; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and brother, Calvin Wolfe of Marietta.
