THE PARIS NEWS, Feb. 22, 2008: “Peggy Nell Warren Anderson, 77, of Paris, died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Funeral services are set for 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 23, in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Atkins officiating. Burial follows in Evergreen Cemetery. Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements. The family receives friends from 10 a.m. until service time prior to the service on Saturday. She was born April 22, 1930, in Paris, to William Logan and Minnie Pearl Shawhart Warren. She attended Paris High School and married Walter Leon Anderson on July 21, 1946, in Paris. He died July 22, 1974. She was a production clerk for Westinghouse and North American Philips Corp. She was a talented artist and an accomplished seamstress. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers and two sisters. She is survived by three children, Peggy Pamela Butler and husband, Earl, of the Clardy Community, Walter Daniel ‘Danny’ Anderson and wife, Brenda, of Blossom and Warren Eugene ‘Gene’ Anderson and wife, Debbie, of Paris; three grandchildren, Bryan Nichols, Katrina Sims and Patty Anderson and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Bryan Nichols, David Anderson, Tyler New, Todd Varner, Tim Iltis, and Alan Fouse.
