SPRINGDALE -- Margie Lue Burnett, 71, of Springdale died March 16, 2008, at her home. She was born Feb. 8, 1937, in Pettigrew to Elbert Elhannon and Flora Brandenburg Evans.

She was retired from Campbell Soup Co. in Fayetteville and was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Freda Burnett.

Survivors include two sons, Larry Burnett of Prairie Grove and Leslie Burnett of Ball Creek; two daughters, Karen Long and husband Carl of Coyle, Okla., and Kay Passow and husband Ben of Perry, Okla.; three brothers, Marvin Evans, Melvin Evans and Marshall Evans, all of Pettigrew; three sisters, Macle Young, Maxine Walker, both of Siloam Springs, and Marvie Gray of St. Paul; eight grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville with the Rev. Mickey Evans officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Rodney Gray, Garry Eldredge, Frank Burnett, Jimmie Reynolds, Donnie Burnett, Tony Jennings, Randy Burnett and Orval Taylor.
